Method 1: Close Some Programs

If you running too many programs at once then you need to close some programs. To do so, simply press Windows + X keys simultaneously and type “Task Manager” then click on the CPU column header. This process will help in identifying which programs are using the most RAM, writing or reading to your hard disk the most often, simply select the Disk or Memory respectively. Once you find which programs hogging your system’s resources, simply close those specific programs.

Method 2: Reduce Some Programs Running In The Background

To speed up your PC’s performance you need to close the unnecessary programs. To do so, press Windows + R simultaneously and then type the command  “msconfig” then hit Enter. After this, simply go to the Startup and open the Task Manager. Now, you can choose the programs you do not want to start when the Windows starts, just select the Disable button.

Method 3: Disable Some Browser Extensions

In order to disable some browser extension, you need to go to the Chrome address bar and enter the URL ‘chrome://extensions/’ and press Enter. Now, you will see installed add-ons. Just uncheck the boxes you want to disable and then click OK the trash icon. (For Google Chrome Users)

Method 5: Uninstall Unnecessary Programs

  • Primarily, press Windows +S simultaneously and then enter the command “add remove” and then select the Add or Remove Program button.

Method 6: Clear Temporary Files And Folders

To do that, simply press and hold the Windows key and R simultaneously and then enter %temp%’ and immediately press the Enter button. Now, press the Ctrl + A simultaneously and select all files then click on the Delete button to remove them all. Wait for about 5 minutes to complete the process and then restart your device.
